Claire de Montaigu

Senior Business Advisor

Claire de Montaigu joined Leaders Trust in 1996, where she conducts executive search consulting, executive team assessments (CEOs, Management Committees, key positions) and board assessments for companies in the industrial and service sectors. She also advises professional associations in the recruitment of their executives. She also conducts human resources studies on behalf of groups.

Since the beginning, she has developed a career as a generalist manager in industrial and financial services companies in particular and has acquired specific African experience as a Project Manager for the General Manager of Etablissements Petersen (oil mills, soap factories, canning factories), then in the administrative and financial responsibility of a Franco-Ivorian architectural firm on projects in Côte d'Ivoire. Back in Europe, Claire de Montaigu extended her management experience to the financial sector as Secretary General of the Banque de la Mutuelle Industrielle (FIMALAC Group).

Within the Crédit Lyonnais Group, she then successively held the positions of General Secretary of Financière des Manufactures de France (an investment fund specializing in the luxury goods sector) and Special Affairs Officer for the Management Board of the Consortium de Réalisation (CDR). Claire de Montaigu was a member of the Directoire since 2005 and President until December 2021.

Erik Linquier

Partner and Managing Director

Erik has dual experience of the public and corporate sectors, an international background and long-term expertise in infrastructure, energy, the environment and digital technology.

He began his career as a senior civil servant: magistrate at the Cour des Comptes, economic advisor in Canada, deputy representative of France at the WTO in Geneva, and then head of trade and European affairs at the Direction Générale du Trésor in Bercy, before becoming its General Secretary.

He then pursued a career in the corporate world, with a dual focus on infrastructure (particularly in the energy and environment sectors) and digital transformation: deputy general secretary of Enedis, managing director at Accenture, founder and chairman of Cofrex (the operator of French stakes in major international events), before taking charge of Kyndryl's business development in the public sector, utilities and telecoms. He was also a director of the Monnaie de Paris.

He joined Leaders Trust in September 2023.

A holder of the IFA/Science Po director's certificate, he is also Chairman of Aquavesc, which produces and distributes water for 600,000 people in western Paris, and a member of the Board of VMF Patrimoine, an association promoting French heritage.

Pierre-Yves Stintzy

Partner

Pierre-Yves has enthusiastically accompanied many companies of various sizes since he joined the headhunting profession in 1995. He has built a solid expertise in the industry and in the broadest sense in the 'operations' functions.

He joined Leaders Trust in 2017, as a Partner, with the desire to become even more involved in Executive Search. In 2023 he took over the management of the firm and became Managing Director.

In the executive search industry since 1995, Pierre-Yves co-managed an independent firm before joining Leaders Trust.

Prior to that, Pierre-Yves began his career at Compagnie Bancaire where he was involved in professional real estate financing.

He then joined the Corporate Real Estate department of Caisse des Dépôts.

A graduate of the Ecole Centrale de Paris, Pierre-Yves is a regular speaker in master's programs and in Grandes Ecoles.

In 2010, he initiated the creation of an International Purchasing Master (PMTI) at Ecole Centrale Paris.

Jean-Philippe Saint-Geours

Senior Business Advisor

Jean-Philippe Saint-Geours has been acting in Executive Search and Governance Consulting for more than 20 years. Before joining Leaders Trust International in September 2003 he was a Partner of Heidrick & Struggles. He served as Managing Partner of this firm in France, and was named Vice Chairman of the Group in 2002.

Due to his executive experience his consulting practice encompasses a wide variety of engagements in general management (CEO, COO, CFO, Communications, HR) and Board directorships. His main search credentials sectors include industry, professional services, distribution, media, public services, and trade organizations.

Jean-Philippe has also successfully developed services offers in Leadership Consulting Services for Executive Management Review, Executive Committees and Boards of Directors assessment.

From 2009 till 202014, he has been the Chairman of AltoPartners, an international alliance of independent search firms, founded by Leaders Trust and currently covering 30 countries.

Jean-Philippe started his career as a civil servant in the Ministry of Economy and Finance and in the Ministry of Industry. He also spent two years as an Advisor to the French Prime Minister, before being appointed General Manager of the Paris Opera (1983-1989), In 1989, he joined Publicis Group as General Manager of the “Medias et Régies” branch. He is a graduate from the Ecole Nationale d’Administration, the Institut d’Etudes Politiques and the Law University of Paris.

Olivier PAQUIER

Partner

Passionate about sustainable finance, renewable energies and the development of new business models, Olivier Paquier joined the Leaders Trust International team as a Partner on September 1, 2024.

IEP Paris, ENA (1991), Olivier Paquier began his career in the administration, first as an economist in the Forecasting Directorate of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and then as financial attaché in Moscow in charge of Russia and the CIS countries in 1995, before continuing at the French Treasury as head of the Africa, ACP, Franc Zone office, head of the insurance companies office and then deputy director of insurance.

At the end of 2003, he left the administration and joined the EDF group where he took responsibility for debt restructuring and the sale of subsidiaries in South America, then became director of mergers and acquisitions and structured finance for the group. In 2009, he was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of EDF Energies Nouvelles, which was a subsidiary then chaired by the entrepreneur who founded it and listed it on the stock exchange, and also became CEO of EDF ENR: he thoroughly restructured the portfolio of companies in this division by refocusing its activities on solar photovoltaics and in particular he initiated the development of self-consumption of solar electricity in private homes.

He then joined Amundi in 2016 to develop the unlisted division, which doubled its assets under management in 5 years and he also took responsibility for ESG for all Amundi Real Assets' businesses.

At the end of 2023, Olivier Paquier chose to continue outside major groups his various activities oriented towards supporting the development of companies.

Nathalie Deroche

Partner

Serving companies, whatever the format, from project to construction, from the spirit of conquest to questioning; this is Nathalie's passion.

At Leaders Trust since 2017 she has been developing coaching and executive search activities for the infrastructure, energy and large industry sectors and for the public sector.

Previously Nathalie has contributed for 20 years to the transformation of the big French energy operators, leading a complete executive career: operations, energy trading, risk management, IPO, international development, GDF-Suez merger... Since 2008 she has been using her experience of complex situations and change management to support any company in its transformation, taking into consideration the point of view of all stakeholders.

Nathalie graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and ENSAE, and is a certified coach by IFOD and Alter & Coach. She is a member of Institut Français des Administrateurs and non exec director in the non-profit world, in particular for the Ecole Polytechnique alumni community.

François Landau

Partner

An executive search professional, François works mainly as a recruitment consultant in the industrial and technology sectors. He is experienced in leading talent searches in EMEA and globally.

He started his career at Leaders Trust before joining the international firm Russell Reynolds Associates, where he advised listed and family-owned companies on their executive and board searches.

More recently, François was Talent Acquisition Leader at Amazon Web Services, focusing on the recruitment of VP and Director level roles within the EMEA region for the Cloud Computing business of Amazon.

He has been a Partner at Leaders Trust since 2023.

François holds a master’s degree in management from IESEG School of Management in Paris.

Olivier Carlander

Partner

With more than twenty years of experience in the Human Resources field in large companies, Olivier joined Leaders Trust in 2008. He is passionate about the art of combining executive talent with business strategy.

An expert in the construction and real estate, infrastructure and B to B services, he is involved in executive search assignments and management team assessment.

The first part of his career was spent with the Bouygues Group, where he notably was Director of Human Resources Development for the Construction division, responsible for recruiting managers and training future executives.

He has then held the position of Director of Resourcing and Career Management for the Bureau Veritas Group. He was more specifically in charge of executive recruitment and leadership assessment.

A graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, Olivier also holds a law degree from Paris II University.
